Torsion springs (or torsion coil springs) are the most common spring types when torque and rotational motion are required. The movable part is a coil of spring wire, and both ends (legs) are designed to allow the introduction of torque and are suitable for the application of the base.
Many applications require two similar springs, but one is right-hand coiled and the other is left-hand coiled. In some cases, the two springs can be combined into a double torsion spring, in which a right spring and a left-hand coil spring body are connected to each other.
The material grade is the same as that of compression spring, covering the whole range from ordinary spring steel to nickel alloy, titanium alloy and copper alloy. We cold coil the spring, the wire diameter is 18mm, and the hot coil is used for thicker materials.
